					<description>&amp;nbsp;Hi Friends!!! Life got exceedingly busy, inclusive of LOTS of studio time over the last month. &amp;nbsp;Marcel and I have been doing tons of editing, overdubs, and general awesomeness, all to get ready for hopefully a finished project in September. &amp;nbsp;We&apos;re on track and moving forward! &amp;nbsp;For now, here&apos;s another (and I&apos;m sure long-awaited) video update:

					<title>Pure Worship</title>
					<link>http://KathrynMarquis.bandzoogle.com/blog.cfm?feature=2059710&amp;postid=1078133</link>
					<description>One of the taglines for the &lt;a target=&quot;_new&quot; href=&quot;http://www.responseinitiative.org&quot;&gt;Response Initiative that Heather and I created while dreaming the event into reality is, &amp;quot;PURE WORSHIP; GOD&apos;S GOVERNMENT; TAKE THE INITIATIVE.&amp;quot;
I love this statement, and it&apos;s inspired by the book of Revelation. All through the Bible&apos;s last book this pattern can be found; simplified and paraphrased it reads, &amp;quot;Every created thing everywhere worships; God does stuff in the earth. They worship more; God does more stuff.&amp;quot; The &apos;stuff&apos; He does is purposeful, righteous, full of justice, and mercy. It&apos;s governmental.
When I talk about pure worship, I mean worship that is singular, motivated only by who God is and what He&apos;s done&amp;hellip; not what we want from Him. Some of the dictionary definitions of &amp;quot;pure&amp;quot; are these: not mixed or adulterated with any other substance or material; without any extraneous and unnecessary elements; wholesome and untainted by immorality; involving or containing nothing else but; sheer (used for emphasis).

If we&apos;re coming to offer &amp;quot;pure worship&amp;quot;, it&apos;s not about technical perfection or a certain style or genre. It&apos;s like the definitions - unmixed and unadulterated, nothing unnecessary or added, singular, SHEER WORSHIP. That means, &amp;quot;holy, holy, worthy, worthy&amp;quot; ascribing to God who He is and what He&apos;s worth&amp;hellip; casting aside needs, petitions, self-based motives - including the motive to receive from Him.
This doesn&apos;t mean we don&apos;t receive during worship - it just means we&apos;re coming without regard for that. We&apos;re coming purely to give to Him what is due HIM. I don&apos;t judge it &apos;good or bad&apos;, or value, or DEvalue worship based on my preferences, genre, or my experience. I don&apos;t judge it at all. It&apos;s HIS to value and it&apos;s MINE to give. He&apos;s worthy, and all heaven is doing it, always. I&apos;m not going to wait for Him to ask for it&amp;hellip;. I&apos;m going to take the initiative. Will you?

					<title>Editing in the studio...</title>
					<link>http://KathrynMarquis.bandzoogle.com/blog.cfm?feature=2059710&amp;postid=1023817</link>
					<description>Hi all! &amp;nbsp;I spent most of today in the studio with producer Marcel Preston as we continued with edits of the raw live worship tracks from our April conference. &amp;nbsp;We are steadily progressing, working on picking songs/moments that will become the tracks on the new album, and then cutting, splicing and harvesting the best moments, and editing them for length. &amp;nbsp;This is a big job, but we&apos;re in the home stretch; only 2, maybe 3 more tracks to go. &amp;nbsp;
Once the songs are picked and the basic edits are finished, Marcel begins to tighten and correct timing issues, isolated note errors, and that sort of thing. &amp;nbsp;Pretty soon we&apos;ll be ready to start rebuilding each song, overdubbing what needs it, and adding in more instrumentation and effects to get the sound we&apos;re looking for.
In the end, we&apos;re looking at potentially up to 30 hours of work PER SONG. &amp;nbsp;Here&apos;s a peek at what we were up to today:

					<title>Journey to a new album project begins!!</title>
					<link>http://KathrynMarquis.bandzoogle.com/blog.cfm?feature=2059710&amp;postid=973809</link>
					<description>Hey there!!

I am so excited to be able to share this journey with you! &amp;nbsp;It&apos;s both very challenging and fulfilling to be able to put together an album, and this one is really special for me. &amp;nbsp;On April 27th we began recording LIVE at the first night of our On Earth As It Is In Heaven worship conference, and we captured over SIX HOURS of live worship through the 4-night conference!! &amp;nbsp;This project will be what I&apos;ve wanted to be able to do from the start - an album compiled of the best of the live worship experience - so not just my band and me leading worship, but your response and the wonderful sounds of heaven that came from the congregation was also captured!

Now, because of the wonder of modern technology, I&apos;m going to be able to share the journey with you as we work in the studio to edit, clean up, and compile the best of the recorded material into this NEW LIVE WORSHIP PROJECT. &amp;nbsp;I&apos;m working with the very talented and frankly, anointed Marcel Preston of &lt;a target=&quot;_new&quot; href=&quot;http://brokenrocketstudios.com/index.php&quot;&gt;Broken Rocket Studios. &amp;nbsp;You can come with me, day by day, as we move toward a finished album for a September 2011 release date.

So, now without further ado, here is the first in a series of &amp;quot;vlogs&amp;quot; (video logs) on our journey toward the new album! &amp;nbsp;Please enjoy, share with your friends, and feel free to leave your comments. :)

Much love, Kathryn
